My Christmas Eve was nearly ruined by this lovely green bow.
Or rather, the lack of its existence upon my sweet baby girl’s head for her very first Christmas in this world. When it went missing 20 minutes before the start of our annual Christmas eve service and dinner traditions, I was heartbroken. A glass of wine, a red bow, and a little perspective later, I was perfectly content to be spending my Christmas Eve surrounded by my KC in-law family that I’m blessed to be able to spend the holidays amongst.
Of course, the bow turned up on Christmas morning. It took a couple of weeks, but I spend a cold KC afternoon playing dress up with my children again so I could snap a few photos of them wearing their Christmas eve attire – something I had failed to do on Christmas Eve.
