a little relaxation, a little play. i spent a couple of days at lake michigan last week. a mini-vacation during my “vacation” to indiana to see my family. there hasn’t been many summers gone by in my lifetime that a beach wasn’t a part of. not the ocean this year, but good enough to hold me over until i can escape someplace tropical.. (wink wink, honey!)

these are my favorite little piggies. and they belong to my favorite little boy. 8 weeks ago, toes became piggies, feet became tootsies, and momm- i mean, i started talking in third person. my, how my world has changed.

a true summertime delight. a new experiment for me: grilled peaches. some days i even impress myself. 😉

not only do those wrinkles in my sheets look incredibly soft and inviting..
but that little boy relaxing on them looks incredibly sweet and cuddly.
